VapoFil Ingredients Explained: Tongkat Ali, Horny Goat Weed, Boron and More

VapoFil Ingredients Explained: Tongkat Ali, Horny Goat Weed, Boron and More

VapoFil's label lists seven ingredients with exact amounts. Here's what each one is, why it's included and what research on the ingredient itself suggests.

Tongkat Ali in VapoFil

Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) is the best-studied herb in the formula. A 2022 meta-analysis of clinical trials found it can modestly raise total testosterone, most clearly in men with low levels. VapoFil uses 10 mg of a concentrated 100:1 extract.

Horny Goat Weed in VapoFil

Horny Goat Weed contains icariin, which in lab studies acts on the same pathway targeted by some erectile dysfunction drugs. Human evidence is limited, and it may lower blood pressure, so men on heart or blood pressure medication should check with a doctor.

Boron and Nettle in VapoFil

Boron is a trace mineral; a small study found a week of supplementation raised free testosterone and lowered inflammatory markers in healthy men. Nettle root compounds may bind SHBG, the protein that ties up testosterone.

Saw Palmetto, Sarsaparilla and Wild Yam in VapoFil

Saw palmetto is traditionally used for prostate health, though a major Cochrane review found no clear benefit over placebo for urinary symptoms. Sarsaparilla and wild yam are traditional tonic herbs with little modern clinical research.

What the VapoFil research means

These studies used individual ingredients, often at higher doses than in VapoFil. They explain why the herbs were chosen but don't prove a specific result for the finished product.
